Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Investment Accountant to join the investment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our real estate investments, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, analyse, and present financial statements for real estate investment portfolios. – Manage the accounting processes for acquisitions, dispositions, and ongoing asset management
Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (IFRS/Lux GAAP)
Conduct financial modelling and forecasting to support investment analysis and strategic planning
Collaborate with property managers and investment teams to gather necessary financial data
Assist in the preparation of budgets and cash flow projections for real estate projects
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions
Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators for real estate assets
Maintain accurate records of property transactions, operating expenses, and revenue

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not essential
Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting or audit experience, ideally in real estate investment or asset management
Strong understanding of real estate financial modeling and analysis
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with real estate management systems is a plus
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively in a team environment
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French or German is a plus
