Financial Controller – Real Estate Investor – Luxembourg

The role will be responsible for the financial control of a portfolio of German and UK assets. This role will manage the relationship with all external service providers and report back in a timely and accurate manner to the portfolio management team based in London.

Amongst others you will have responsibility for:

Preparing and analysing financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis
Preparing fund flows
Loan schedules
Monitoring and controlling the CAPEX/development related spending
Invoices and payments
GAV and NAV calculations
Liasing continually with local JV partners, the asset and property management teams
Requirements:

A Masters in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA qual or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles in a similar company
Strong knowledge of LuxGAAP and IFRS
Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
German language skills are essential
