Senior Fund Controller

Senior Fund Controller – Real Estate Investor – Luxembourg

We are currently mandated by a well-known and highly respected global real estate investor to assist in the appointment of a Senior Fund Controller. Reporting to the Managing Director of the Luxembourg office this key hire will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of more junior colleagues whilst maintaining a hands-on approach to the following responsibilities:

Supervise the production of accounts and their approval by the Subsidiaries of the Funds
Manage the cash flow of the Funds and optimize returns to investors
Manage quarterly reporting to investors
Ensure compliance with legal and tax standards in each country where the Funds are present
and take into account legislative and regulatory developments
Ensure debt management: covenants and banking reporting
Ensure that the returns (in cash, in IRR) can be technically served to investors,
Ensure the coordination of the Funds, Investments, Accounting and Financial and Asset Management Departments for all matters relating to the Funds.
Requirements:

A minimum of 6 years experience in audit/similar investment business
Proven experience in managing and inspiring junior colleagues
Good knowledge of real estate investment funds
Strong accounting, reporting and financial knowledge
Mastery of financial modeling
Interest in law and taxation
Fluent English
