Conducting Officer – Portfolio Management

Introduction:

Our client is a prestigious global bank with an established Super ManCo in the heart of Luxembourg.

On their behalf, we are recruiting an experienced Conducting Officer – Portfolio Management.

Job Overview:

Your role will be head of portfolio management oversight. You will lead a team of 4 specialists and coordinate the portfolio management and distribution oversight team for the due diligence functions and product development activities. Lead any projects linked to the ManCo for which the involvement of the Portfolio Oversight function is required.

This role would suit a flexible and dynamic individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.

Task and Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the oversight of the delegated function of portfolio and Distribution activities in line with the CSSF circular 18 / 698 requirements;
Attend the Executive Committee and board meeting to report on portfolio management and product development matters.
Assist and perform initial and ongoing due diligence questionnaire on investment managers and distributors;
Chair the Portfolio Management and Distribution Oversight Committee
Lead in the implementation and analysis of regulatory changes (AIFMD, ESMA guidelines, SFDR);
Perform the on-site visits of delegated Portfolio Managers and Distributors.
Perform pre-trade checks for daily orders and enhance the compliance system.
Execute subscriptions and redemption advice in master-feeder structure funds;
Implement and develop controls to monitor master-feeder structures (cash liquidity);
Liaise and coordinate with clients and service providers.

Candidate Profile:

Experienced Conducting Officer in Portfolio Management
UCITS and AIF experience
Distribution oversight experience
Team management experience
Excellent communication skills
