Accountant – Private Equity – Luxembourg

We are currently mandated by a global technology investment firm, with approximately $90 billion in combined assets under management, As the team continues to grow in Luxembourg they are looking to recruit an Accountant.

 

Responsibilities:

Assist in bookkeeping and preparation of statutory financial statements and interim accounts
for Luxembourg SPVs (update accounts receivable, payable, bookkeeping of financial portfolios, revaluation)
Preparation of support working documents (interest calculations, amortization/depreciation
tables)
Participate in month-end and year end closing
Assist with other accounting/ administrative projects (i.e. payment instructions, archiving
documents, update files)
Will work in close cooperation with the accounting and legal/corporate teams

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is preferred
At least two years of relevant experience in the fields of accounting in Luxembourg, preferably with private equity structures
Good knowledge of LuxGAAP,
IFRS and financial reporting practices will be an asset
Experience in using the accounting software SAGE BOB 50 is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English
Unwavering work ethic, highly organized and detail-oriented
