Business Manager – Investment Management –Renewable Investment

We are currently looking for an experienced Business Manager, Renewable Investments to join a leading global investment business. Working on some of Europe’s largest Clean Energy projects, this role will be integral to the sustained success and development of the division;

Your responsibilities

Support the Head of Investment Management in the strategic development and operational effectiveness of the Investment team and the Development and Construction teams
Drive the development, articulation and implementation of strategic plans and organisational/operational projects for the investment, development and construction teams on an ongoing basis
Coordinate plans and resources of the investment team with relevant internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational deliverables
Identify areas for process improvement and generating innovative solutions that enhance the operational efficiency of the Investment Team and the relations with key stakeholders

Your qualifications 

6-8 years’ investment management experience, preferably with exposure to the renewable energy industry
Business or Law degree, ideally complimented by an MBA
A growth-oriented, strategic and entrepreneurial thinker with a confident working style
Proven ability to work effectively across functions in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
Outstanding communication skills, problem-solving ability and assertiveness at various levels of the organisation; including C-level management
Exceptional English skills are paramount; additional EU languages (German / Spanish) will be looked upon favourably
