Our client is a leading global Investment Manager. For their Alternative Investments business Headquartered in Luxembourg, we are recruiting an Analyst to work directly with the Investment Managers on the Infrastructure Team.

The team is responsible for all investment management activity relating to infrastructure investments across Europe and the USA.

Job Description:

  • As an Investment performance analyst in Infrastructure, your main role is to oversee and manage the financial aspects of infrastructure investment projects, including IRR calculations and performance.
  • You will work closely with investment teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the financial success of the projects.
  • Your responsibilities will include financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • You will develop and maintain financial models to assess the financial viability and profitability of infrastructure investments.
  • This will involve analyzing cash flows, project costs, revenue projections, and investment returns.
  • You will also be responsible for monitoring project expenses, tracking financial performance, and implementing financial control measures to mitigate risks.
  • You will review and analyze financial statements, contracts, and investment agreements to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaboration and communication skills are crucial in this role as you will work closely with various stakeholders, including project managers, finance teams, and external partners such as banks and investors.
  • You will provide financial insights and recommendations to support investment decision-making and optimize financial performance.
  • Additionally, you will stay updated on market trends, industry regulations, and accounting standards relevant to infrastructure investments.
  • This will enable you to provide accurate financial analysis and guidance to ensure the success of the projects.
  • Overall, as a controller in Infrastructure, you will play a vital role in managing the financial aspects of infrastructure investment projects, ensuring financial compliance, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making.

Candidate Profile:

  • 3 years experience in a similar role working directly for an Asset or Investment Manager
  • Private Equity and/or Infrastructure investment experience
  • Excellent English communication skills
